Swemin

Svemin represents approximately 60 companies with roughly 13,000 employees in production, exploration and technology.  

Svemin's mission is to provide member companies with the best possible competitive conditions. They monitor the industry's interests in connection with the development of policies and laws in Sweden and within the EU.  

With knowledge, experience and long-term commitment, they influence and develop the conditions for the Swedish mining and mineral cluster to continue to be world-class.  

It is also about creating meeting places to spread knowledge, build networks and share experiences about the industry's various subject areas. Svemin develops industry-wide guidelines and contributes to the realization of research and technology development in prioritized areas.  

Den Svenska Gruvan (The Swedish Mine)

Metals and minerals are essential for a modern and sustainable society. In the transition that is now underway where fossil fuels are to be phased out, more metals and minerals are needed. Den Svenska Gruvan wants to highlight the opportunities that exist with a developed mining industry in Sweden. Behind the initiative is the Swedish mining cluster through Boliden, LKAB, Zinkgruvan Mining, ABB, Epiroc, Sandvik, Copperstone Resources and Svemin.

Stora Enso, "The renewable materials company", develops and produces solutions based on wood and biomass for a variety of industries and areas of use around the world.  

Stora Enso is deeply committed to the development of products and technologies based on renewable materials, and to creating value in a sustainable bioeconomy. In many cases, their products are climate-friendly alternatives to products made from fossil-based or other non-renewable materials.
